Zoviduo is an over-the-counter medicine for mouth ulcers. Zoviduo contains two active ingredients: acyclovir and hydrocortisone. Acyclovir is an antiviral drug that helps fight the virus that causes herpes. Hydrocortisone is a mild steroid that reduces the inflammation that occurs with herpes.
Zoviduo can be used by adults and adolescents from 12 years of age.
Zoviduo should only be used for lip ulcers. Do not use longer than 5 days.
