has the characteristic properties of absorbing and retaining wound necrosis and is resistant to stretching.
the insole with hydro-cleaning properties is coated with a soft, adherent healing matrix (TLC: lipid-colloidal technology) impregnated with silver. The TLC-Ag matrix provides antimicrobial protection and readily gels to aid in mucus drainage.
Upon contact with wound exudate, the TLC-Ag matrix gels, creating a moist environment for wound healing.
polyabsorbent fibers (polyacrylate) with hydrocleaning properties, absorb exudate and form a gel. These fibers bind the necrosis by absorbing and draining it, helping to eliminate it (autolytic debridement).
The Ag+ ions give UrgoClean Ag an antimicrobial effect that can reduce bacteria in and around the wound.

Indications
UrgoClean Ag is indicated for topical treatment of:
chronic (shin ulcers, bedsores, diabetic foot ulcers) exuding wounds with a risk of infection or with signs of local infection, starting from the stage of cleansing.
acute (burns, traumatic wounds, surgical wounds) exuding wounds with a risk of infection or local infection, starting from the cleaning stage.
