“Its action is based on increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual arousal. This occurs by supporting the relaxation of the smooth muscles of the corpora cavernosa. Maxon Forte contains the active substance sildenafil 50 mg (in the form of sildenafil citrate). Maxon 50 mg can only be used if the patient has not achieved the desired effect after taking a dose of sildenafil 25 g or has previously taken sildenafil at a dose of 50 mg or more.
Indications
Maxon Forte 50 mg is used in adults:
in the treatment of erectile dysfunction in adult men, i.e. impotence.
Dosage
Always use Maxon Forte exactly as described in the patient instructions or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you have any doubts, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Adult men: The recommended dose is 50 mg if you have previously taken medications containing sildenafil at a dose of 50 mg or more. After consultation, your doctor may recommend a different dosage method. Otherwise, Maxon Forte 50 mg should be used only if the patient does not feel the desired effect after taking sildenafil 25 mg.
The tablet should be taken about an hour before planned sexual intercourse, swallowed whole with a glass of water.
The time it takes for Maxon Forte to work varies from patient to patient, but is usually between half an hour and one hour.
The effect may appear later if the medicine is taken after a large meal.
If you feel that the effect of the drug is too strong or too weak, you do not get an erection after taking it, or if your erection does not last long enough for sexual intercourse, you should contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Maxon Forte allows you to achieve an erection only in the presence of sexual arousal.

Contraindications
If you are allergic to sildenafil or any other ingredient of this medicine.
If you are using:

Riociguat.
